We've gotta be honest here. The thing that made us jump-up-and-down excited about these wafer cookies is their size. Imagine a steering wheel. OK, maybe not the steering wheel of your car, but rather a steering wheel of the bumper cars you drive at the local amusement park. That's how large these things are!!! And we're not sure about you, but whenever we see a sweet, crunchy treat that's huge and has just 90 calories, we FREAK OUT (in a good way). Now that we've got that part out of the way, here's more info. "Mama Anisi" created these thin treats over 80 years ago, and since then they've been VERY popular with a very select, local crowd. And now HG is doing what we can to spread the word about these honey-filled crispy treats so the rest of the world can enjoy them, too. While we prefer the chocolate-filled ones, the regular honey ones are really good as well. Curious as to what they taste like? They're a lot like super-flat wafer cones with a thin layer of chocolaty honey in the middle. Nothing super-fancy or overly sweet -- just a nice cookie-like snack that can be enjoyed anytime. We think you'll dig 'em!
